The gear your photographer uses 100% matters. It really is a big deal. Now…I’ll be one of the first to tell you that gear isn’t everything and the photographer is what makes the difference. I’m not going to sit here and argue with you that you can’t take a great photo with an entry level camera, because we all know you can. Cameras have come a LONG way in the past few years, and you can take an amazing photo with even just your cell phone. In fact, I’ve seen entire weddings professionally shot with an iphone believe it or not! Photographers can take amazing photos with pretty much any camera they have…the popular saying goes “the best camera is the one in your hand,” and its true! HOWEVER, when it comes to documenting important events, hiring an actual professional who uses professional level gear can make a big difference…let’s talk about why!
No Re-Shoot Necessary!
Check out these little gems I had staring back at me on my computer screen upon import from this senior session in Peachtree City and Senoia...that’s a big red flag that it’s time to toss that SD card and hit up amazon for a new one. MEMORY CARDS FAIL all the time. Whether brand new or super old, there’s always a risk. When it comes to documenting important moments, this is where professional photographers, with pro-level gear need to be involved.
If I was using my mid-level canon with one card slot, the images from this session would be forever lost, resulting in this poor senior having to figure out how to fit ANOTHER session into her busy schedule and do everything all over again. With some of your schedules, that's simply not possible, and why risk it?? Just think if it was a WEDDING! I see posts all the time about this and it breaks my heart because it is completely unnecessary. Luckily for this senior (and me!) I’ve got her covered. I use a professional level camera that records to two memory cards, so all I had to do was pop out that other memory card!
